LAMBORGHINI - RECORD SALES FOR 2021

Prepare to say farewell to petrol-only power in Lamborghinis, as the company is saying that 2022 will be its last year selling ICE-only powered models as it ramps up electrification across its range.

The legendary Italian supercar manufacturer will unveil its first plug-in hybrid production car next year before electrifying its full line-up by 2024.

And you will have to hurry if you desperately want a Lamborghini with a petrol-only engine and no electric assistance – CEO Stephan Winkelmann recently said that the company has almost sold out its entire production run for this year following record deliveries in 2021.

Lamborghini sold a record-breaking 8,405 cars in 2021, with almost 60 per cent being the Urus SUV, which sold 5,021 units worldwide, making it the most likely candidate in the line-up to become the company’s first PHEV.
